STUDY ABROAD

Project GO at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is able to fund study abroad opportunities in Hindi, Urdu and Russian for Summer 2018.  Study of these critical languages may take place in India or Kazakhstan through intensive summer programs. Students are encouraged to apply to the program options for which they are eligible.

** Study abroad programs require additional applications besides the application for Project GO funding. **   For more information and on-line application for study abroad, click on the location links below.

Hindi (Beginning, Intermediate) study abroad is offered during the summer of 2018 (June 13 - August 9, 2018) in New Delhi, India.  There are no language prerequisites for the beginning level of this program. Advanced Hindi may be considered if enough students show an interest and apply by the deadline. Students will live with homestay families and be provided two meals a day.  Deadline for Project GO funding is Janurary 25, 2018.  Students will need to additionally apply through UW-Madison's International Academic Program (IAP) and CET (Deadline: March 1, 2018).  We encourage students to start the application process with IAP and CET in order to be knowledgeable about the study abroad application process and research the program more thoroughly.  However, please note that acceptance to IAP and CET prior to the Project GO deadline does not guarantee funding from Project GO.
