Study Abroad




Project GO at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is able to fund study abroad opportunities in Hindi, Urdu and Russian for Summer 2017.  Study of these critical languages may take place in India or Kazakhstan through intensive summer programs. Students are encouraged to apply to the program options for which they are eligible.

NEW THIS YEAR:  Study Abroad in India learning Hindi or Urdu!

Hindi or Urdu (Beginning - Advanced) study abroad is offered during the summer of 2017 (estimated dates: June 7 - August 3, 2017).  Summer destination: Varanasi, India (one of the oldest living cities in the world). Russian (Intermediate - Advanced) study abroad is offered during the summer of 2017 (estimated dates: June 13 - August 12, 2017). Project GO at UW-Madison will offer a study abroad program in Almaty, Kazakhstan for students with four or more semesters in Russian. For those interested in study abroad during the academic year, please contact us if interested.


Indonesian study abroad is not offered at this time. Please contact our office with any requests for studying Indonesian abroad.
